Link/Channel Definitions
The Basic Link is defined as the horizontal cabling between the closet termination and workstation termination. The termination at the closet and the workstation are included as part of the Basic Link. The maximum length that the horizontal cabling can be as defined in TIA/EIA is 90 meters (295 ft).

The Channel is defined as the horizontal cabling and termination in the closet and workstation with the addition of patch cords at each location. The maximum patch cord length at the closet is 6 meters (20 ft.), and the maximum patch cord at the workstations is 3 meters (9.8 ft.). Channel testing must be done with the patch cords in place, and the cords cannot be removed after the testing is complete.

Warranty Application Requirements
For a structured cable system to be covered under the program:
1. Before installation of system is started, a letter of intent to register the system must be sent to Remee Products Corp. Attention System Warranty Administrator.
2. The system must be installed by a certified Remee installer.
3. The registered system must be constructed with 100% approved connectivity products.
4. The registered system must be constructed with 100% Remee Products cable.
5. Upon completion of the system, the Remee certified installer must submit the following documents to:

  Documentation
  System registration letter
  Detailed layout of facility's cable management being tested, typical closet, and workstation configuration.
  Material list showing all materials within the system channel.
  Complete test results (along with tester model and calibration date) showing each channel meeting or exceeding the performance requirements defined in TIA/EIA 568-B.
6. Installation of the entire system network must be installed by a Remee certified installer, including design (where applicable), installation, testing, and documentation.
7. All adds, moves and changes to the system network following installation must be registered, installed, and tested as described above.
    
Installation Practices
For a structured cable system to be covered under the program: The system must be installed in accordance with the following structured cabling standards:

Certified Installer Training
For an installer to be certified: To ensure the integrity of a system network installation the installer must hold and maintain credentials of certification with a known connectivity manufacturer or one of the Remee existing partners. Upon review and acceptance of these credentials, Remee will issue a Letter of Certification.

Structured Cabling System Warranty
Remee Products warrants that: the Remee cable product included in your structured cable system (the "System Network") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship; and the system will perform as contemplated in ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B. As used herein, "Remee products" means such products as may be covered by the Rose Program Structured Cable Warranty Program (the "Rose Program") as in effect on the date the System Network is installed. The conditions to this warranty are that: the cable used in your System Network is manufactured by Remee Products and the connectivity products are manufactured by a Partner as in effect on the date the System Network is installed; the System is installed by an installer who is a Remee Certified Installer as of the date the System Network is installed; your installer installs the System Network in accordance with the installation and testing standards set forth in the Program as in effect on the date the System Network is installed; and any changes or modifications to the System Network are installed and tested in accordance with the Program as in effect on the date of such change or modification. This warranty shall expire 25 years after the date the installation of the System Network is completed.

In case of breach of warranty, your sole remedy, and Remee's sole obligation, shall be, at the sole discretion of Remee Products: if there is any defect in any Remee Products cable included in the System Network; Remee reserves the right to repair or replace such product, or to refund to you the amount of the purchase price for such product. And in the event the System Network fails to perform in accordance with the warranty but there is no defect in any of the Remee product included in the System Network, to refund to you an amount equal to the aggregate purchase price for all Remee Products cable included in the System Network. The repair, replacement or refund as provided above shall be your sole remedy with respect to the System Network and you shall not make any claim against Remee Products Corporation for any loss or damage relating to or arising out of the System Network or your use thereof, whether in contract, in tort, or under statute, including, without limitation, any claim for repairs or defects, any claim for special, incidental or consequential damages, any claim for damage or injury to persons or property and any other claims based upon defects in the System Network for the actual or alleged negligence of Remee Products. IN NO CASE SHALL REMEE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR THE SYSTEM NETWORK EXCEED THE AGGREGATE PURCHASE PRICE FOR ALL REMEE'S PRODUCTS INCLUDED IN THE SYSTEM. THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES DESCRIBED HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH REMEE'S EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS.

This warranty does not cover the cost of any other products or labor outside the Link/Channel installed in the system network as described above. You shall assume all responsibility and expense for freight, removal and reinstallation. This warranty is nontransferable. Warranty does not include labor, lost time, profits, revenues, system network downtime or cost to reinstall non-compliant devices.

In no case shall Remee Products Corporation be obligated to make any repair, replacement or refund, nor shall the warranty provided herein apply: to defects caused by normal wear and tear; integration of connectivity products other than manufacturers as out lined in the Remee Rose Program into the System Network; modifications to the System Network made by anyone not a Remee certified installer; improper maintenance or repair of the System Network; or damages resulting from fire, natural disaster, power failures or surges.

Claim Procedure
Before making a claim under this warranty and for a claim under this warranty to be valid, you must first resolve all connectivity related causes. Warranty claims shall be made to: System Warranty Administrator or Regional Manager. Cable product replacement due to failure will be performed only after Remee Products has reviewed and verified the system network prior to the removal, replacement or repair of the defective products or system network.

 

Remee reserves the right to mark all it's cable constructions EITHER U/L or  ETL.
