REDSS Self Supporting Cable
  Remee Products Corporation has enhanced its outside plant fiber-optic product line. Remee's REDSS fiber optic cable is an all-dielectric, self-supporting, loose tube cable. The REDSS cable is designed to take advantage of existing transmission and distribution infrastructures. The use of loose tube cable design is key to providing fiber isolation both during installation and throughout its' service life in all NESC loading conditions. The all-dielectric cable construction eliminates the need for bonding and grounding while the optional track resistant jacket permits installation in high field voltages. The hardware, equipment, and procedures used in the installation of this cable are fundamentally the same as employed by the utility industry.
